Introducing Gayla Pierce
Gayla has dabbled in astrology most of her life but began to seriously study it in 1997 when she crossed paths with a gifted astrology teacher in the Bay Area. She has been a successful professional in the food industry for the last 30 years; a path laid out by 4 Cancer planets, including the Moon and Venus, both of which have strong connections with food. The Astro*Food idea and concepts grew out of Gayla's desire to blend her interest in astrology and career experience with food. While she is fascinated by natal charts because they provide a unique and often elegant path for personal growth and understanding; archetypal, mythological and mundane astrology holds equal fascination and interest because each provides a deep and rich glimpse at the world around us.
Gayla currently serves as Treasurer for the Organization for Professional Astrology (OPA) and is Vice President for the San Diego Astrological Society (SDAS). She also served as the catering director for UAC 2008 in Denver, CO. Respected among astrologers, and local foodies, Gayla lives in San Diego, travels frequently in Mexico, collects Mexican folk art, cooks and writes about food and now astrology.

Privacy is important, to you and to me. Therefore, I will never share, sell or otherwise disclose any of the personal information you have provided to me, including name, birth information, telephone number, e-mail address or other pertinent information. Additionally, anything that is presented or discussed in a consultation will remain private and will not be disclosed or shared with anyone.
It is not uncommon in a consultation for someone to ask about another person's chart (i.e. child, parent, spouse, lover, boss, etc). Because astrological charts can provide substantial data about a person, I also am not willing to look at a chart without the person's expressed permission to do so.
My objective is to provide you with a positive consultation experience. This can best be achieved by trusting and respecting the privacy, boundaries and confidentiality of each other.
